Our Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape, nestled between two lakes, in beautiful Goldegg. Goldegg is only about 50km from Salzburg, very close to ski slopes and many unique attractions in the sommer.

We are here to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Whether you need hot water, or heat up anything, do your laundry, anything we can help with we are happy to do it. 

Breakfast is part of your room price; however, you can book a room without breakfast as well. We make sure our breakfast has a wide variety of choices: coffee, a choice of at least 10 different teas, many of which are organic, a variety of cheeses including several types from our local organic farm, local honey, deli meats (turkey and pork), a variety of raw vegetables, fresh fruit, jams, butter, meat based and vegetarian spreads, baked good from the local bakery (gluten free at request), we prepare eggs any way you wish. 

Breakfast is served 7am and 10am. 

Halfboard option is available all year long. All half board dinners come with a soup, a choice of a main meal (choice from 2-3 options) and a desert. 



Our rooms

Choose from single, double or triple rooms. Almost all rooms have a balkony, all rooms have a bathroom and a hairdryer. Our rooms do not have a TV. The guests are welcome to watch TV in the restaurant.

In-house restaurant

Enjoy delicious traditional Austrian dishes in our in-house restaurant, we offer a selection from small appetizers to the complete menu. 

The restaurant is open for dinner from 18.00 until 20.00 O'clock. Drinks and ice cream are available any time. 





Winter

Skiing

Ski slopes in the village, Goldegger ski lifts, are 1 km away with a practice lift and kids ski area. Alpendorf in St. Johann im Pongau is 8 km away, only about 15 minutes by car. Alpendorf is part of Ski Amade. A free ski bus has a bus stop at the house.

  • Downhill skiing: Our local ski slopes are 1 km away with a practice lift and kids ski area, which is ideal for beginners and free for all children under 6 years old. Alpendorf in St. Johann im Pongau is 8 km away, only about 15 minutes by car. Alpendorf is part of Ski Amade and Snow Space Salzburg. A free ski bus has a bus stop at the house.   • Crosscountry Skiing: In Goldegg there are many cross-country ski trails, one of them right behind our guesthouse. 
  • Biathlon: In Goldegg at the lake. 
  • Ice skating: Schwarzach, St. Veit, St. Johann im Pongau, Zell am See. 
  • Curling: In Goldegg at the lake. 
  • Sledding: In St. Veit. 
  • Horse-drawn carriage rides.
  • Winter walking/hiking, with paths starting right behind our guesthouse.
